Michael: My real estate career began when I was 21 years old, in 1976. I was just starting out, and one of my father’s clients came up to me and said, “You are going to be successful if you have the same ethics as your father.” After just four years in the industry, I received my broker’s license and started my own company.
Every field has its unique challenges, but real estate seemed like the perfect industry in which I could make a difference. I have always had a passion for architecture and a genuine desire to help others.

It took a lot of hard work to build my career and reputation, but it all traces back to my parents’ upholding high standards and a strong work ethic. When my father passed away, my sister, Marcille, and I became even more appreciative of the time we have with our mother.
She is 95 and doesn’t act a day over 70! We prioritize being there for her and ensuring she is never alone. In my free time, I enjoy collecting art, spending time at my winery in Paso Robles, and traveling.
Marcille: At the age of 12, I sat in my father’s office, who was an insurance salesman, filing paperwork and helping out. I couldn’t help but overhear a conversation he was having with a client. He sat across from a woman and told her, “You are over-insured. I can help you reduce some of your coverage, but I think you can get a better deal at Allstate.” He was willing to lose his commission in order to truly help her.
That moment changed the way I approached life. No matter what I have done in life, I strive to uphold the same integrity as my father. During my nearly 30-year career with Nordstrom, I led and developed thousands of people while contributing to over a billion dollars in sales. While these achievements make me very proud, my favorite part of the job was helping people reach their potential. It is important for me to have a deeper purpose in everything I do. I always strive to deliver the same passion and results in my real estate career.
My brother, Michael, has been a successful REALTOR® for most of his life. He saw my potential to excel in real estate. A home is a healing place for many people. Growing up, our mother always made sure we had dinner together at the table and spent quality time with one another. It is an honor for me to help families find their special place to create memories.
I know my dad is proud that Michael and I have carried on his legacy of integrity and putting others first. When I am not working, I prioritize spending time with my mother, my four kids, and my four grandkids. My husband, Rick, and I love entertaining at our home.
